What is inbound marketing?
You have probably heard of the term "Inbound Marketing" before; In order to define what it means, we could start by defining the opposite term, "Outbound Marketing". Outbound refers to every "traditional" method is used by a company in order to increase sales like newspaper ads, billboards, TV, radio, flyers. All of these are trying to get the attention of potential buyers.
Inbound Marketing refers to every marketing effort in which instead of looking out for customers, they come looking out for you. The most common methods to achieve this include Social Media, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) through Google and browsers, blogs, videos, e-books or any kind of material that your customers find relevant for them.
The steps for Inbound Marketing are:
- Attract traffic to your website.
- Convert those visitors into prospects.
- Convert prospects into customers.
- Delight customers with a continuous engagement with them.
